Natalucci & Partners Group Website Accessibility

The Internet site of the Natalucci & Partners Group, based on current legislation, wants to offer itself to the widest possible audience.

To do this, in its design, the staff addressed the problem of making the contents accessible also for people with blindness, low vision and perceptive and motor disabilities that make navigation difficult or impossible.

To this end, the guidelines drawn up by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) were followed, the independent body that sets standards in order to guarantee the sharing of objectives and tools among those who publish materials on the web. The branch of the W3C that deals with accessibility issues, the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative), develops (among other things) the guidelines to encourage and improve the accessibility of content on the web (WCAG – Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).

The main objective of these guidelines is to promote accessibility.

By following them, we tried to achieve the result of making Web contents more easily usable by all users, regardless of the particular tool in use (e.g., normal browsers, browsers based on speech synthesis devices, etc.) or any limitations to which they may be forced (e.g., noisy environments, underlit or overlit rooms, environments in which it is necessary to have one's hands free at all times, etc.). Complying with these guidelines will allow users to find information more quickly on the official website of the Municipality of Oschiri. These guidelines do not advise content developers not to use images, videos, etc., but rather suggest how to make multimedia content accessible to a wider audience.
